Subprocessors
BAQS, Inc. ("BAQS"), the company behind Contextuar, uses a small number of third-party service providers ("subprocessors") to deliver the Contextuar platform. Each subprocessor is bound by a written agreement that includes data protection obligations consistent with our commitments to you, and each processes customer data only for the purposes described below.
Current subprocessors
| Subprocessor | Purpose | Customer data processed | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Corporation (Azure) | Cloud infrastructure hosting the Contextuar platform: application hosting, APIs, database, file storage, and AI model access through Azure AI Foundry. | Workspace data, email data, contact data, files, and AI processing data (email content, attachments, and business context submitted to AI models). Customer data processed by AI models is not used to train those models. | United States |
| n8n GmbH (n8n Cloud) | Workflow orchestration for certain AI agent integrations. n8n is used only for customers whose agent integrations require workflow orchestration; most agent integrations run entirely on Microsoft Azure (Azure AI Foundry) and do not involve n8n. | Data required to execute approved agent actions (for example, invoice details being entered into an accounting system) and encrypted credentials for connected systems. Agent workflows are configured so that execution data is not retained after workflow completion. | Germany (EU — Microsoft Azure, Frankfurt) |
| Twilio Inc. (SendGrid) | Transactional email delivery (account, workspace, and notification emails). | Recipient name and email address; email notification content. | United States |
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing and subscription billing. | Billing contact and payment information (cardholder data is processed by Stripe and never touches Contextuar systems). | United States |
Services you connect (not subprocessors)
Contextuar also communicates with services that you or your organization authorize directly, such as Gmail and Microsoft 365 (via the Gmail API and Microsoft Graph) and connected business systems like QuickBooks or Zoho. These connections operate under your own authorization and the terms of your agreements with those providers. They are not BAQS subprocessors, and you can revoke access to them at any time.
